Ars Electronica – EXTER Programme
Ars Electronica - EXTER Programme
Anton Lapov became the finalist of the residence programme of Ars Electronica during the first cycle of the EXTER program. As an artist, musician and independent curator, Anton is constantly on the lookout for unconventional forms of representation of an artistic work. Working in Ars Electronica’s Exhibition Department, the curator must prepare a panel, workshop or a discursive event dedicated to the Ars Electronica’s 40th Anniversary, and also to collaborate with colleagues from the arts department and partner institutions from Austria and around the world. The monthly residence ends with the resident’s participation in the Ars Electronica 2019 Festival from 5 to 9 September.
EXTER is a long-term programme for international residencies in the field of contemporary art for Ukrainian artists, curators and art critics, developed by the Ukrainian Institute. As part of the bilateral cultural year, four out of eight residences of the first course Exter-2019 will be held in Austria.
