On October 22 there will be opened a common exhibition in the ARTbasement of the Municipal Gallery Kharkiv.

The exhibition I DO NOT FEEL FREE TO DO WHAT I WANT is based on the bilateral cooperation of the Municipal Gallery Kharkiv, Ukraine and <rotor> center for contemporary art, Graz.

The long-term cooperation started with curatorial research in both cities and artist residency. On October 22 there will be opened a common exhibition in the ARTbasement of the Municipal Gallery Kharkiv. There will be shown the works of seven artists from Ukraine and Austria.

The exhibition deals with individual Freedom. “Freedom means being allowed to do everything, whoich does not harm others”- that is a common definition of borders of personal freedom, which is to be found in the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen of 1789.
