The festival is dedicated to the popularization of the accordion, a traditional instrument in Ukrainian music culture.

The festival will be attended by musicians from Ukraine – from very young to the most famous ones – as well as foreign performers from Austria, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia, Latvia and Sweden.

Duo Aliada, described by the Musikverein Wien as “outstandingly talented and creative musicians”, consists of the saxophonist Michał Knot and the accordionist Bogdan Laketic. Since its founding in 2013, the duo has quickly attracted the attention of the music society.

Duo Aliada is regularly broadcast on popular European radio stations such as ORF1, SWR2, BR Klassik and Radio Klassik. The band is looking forward to once again sharing its unique music with the Ukrainian audience.
