Presentation of “Lexicon of Austrian Playwrights”

“Lexicon of Austrian Playwrights” is a part of the Lexicon "Playwrights of the World" and is dedicated to the study of the rich theatrical tradition of Austria and its links to the cultural, economic and political life of the country.
In its present form, the “Lexicon” contains about a hundred articles, and of particular interest are the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 20th century, the blooming period of classical Austrian theatre. The work on the project is ongoing, and the “Lexicon” is going to be supplemented by articles about the 18th and 19th centuries. The aim of the lexicon is to gather information about Austrian playwrights and their plays from the very beginning and to the present day.
The presentation will take place on November 8, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Institute of Foreign Languages, Zhytomyr State Ivan Franko University.
